- The lake throws light back up under the willows until about six, which is as flattering as it sounds. After that the ridge takes the sun and it cools off fast.
- Don’t miss
- The dock, twenty minutes before sunset, with the ridge behind them. The water goes still and nothing else there comes close.
- Worth knowing
- The walk from the lawn to the tent is longer than the site plan makes it look. Build ten minutes into the timeline or you will lose the light arguing about it.
- Couples always ask
- Whether the swans will be in the photographs. Sometimes. They are not biddable.
